Pictures!

Chris posted a handful of pictures this morning on his blog. I hope to post more soon, but this should give you a little taste of what we are seeing.

Chris had some things he needed to take care of before we leave Kathmandu tomorrow morning, so Hannah and I are about to go do some shopping on our own, without Chris's helpful Nepali language skills. Many Nepalis, especially vendors in the tourist areas, speak a passable amount of English, but it will still be a fun challenge for us to communicate.

Brittany,
Loved reading your blog. Couldn't figure how to respond and accidentally flagged your blog as objectionable. I unflagged your blog. sorry
I'm so technically savy?!
Russ is in St. Louis. Could be big news when he comes home. Michael should be in bed and is playing the blues on his out of tune new guitar. I still have school work to do and don't want to do it. I am tired.
Michael says hi while playing a flatted sixth chord (I think).
It sounds like things are going better and you are enjoying the sight seeing. Your Mom is doing well on her birthday.
Courtney is at the band party and is doing much better. As long as she takes it VERY easy and has no contact with anyone she should be okay.
I am fine. Life has been challenging but I rise to the challenge. (or at least wield a pathetic sword and yell come and get me.)
I have one week left of school and I can't wait!!!!
Will read your blog tomorrow. Take care and love you. We are praying for your enjoyment, safety and health.
Cassi and all

Hi Brittany,
Your Mom got the message about you arriving safely. She'll come over this week some time so I'll show her this site. Valerie's a busy girl this month. She gets back home Thursday from being with her Dad for a couple weeks. Then we leave Sunday for International Music Camp for voice. Then she's home a week to fit in volleyball camp, 4-h consumer choices, ceramics and a dentist appt. Then it's off to another week of camp at Badlands Ministries in Medora and this is just her June schedule. I'm working on the rental house. My goal is to have the upstairs and main floor ready for this fall's enrollment. I found another house to buy over where Aunt Helen used to live just south of Scott Gym but that one doesn't need the work like this one has. Your Mom went for lunch at Applebees and fixed fence on her birthday. You take care, we love you and keep enjoying it all.

Hi Brittany! Ran into your folks at a dinner and meeting the other night and they told me of your travels to Nepal! Wow, what an amazing trip this must be for you! I have enjoyed reading about your journey and think your parents should have a computer! Some of the games you mentioned you had played with the children reminded me of good 'ol Farmers Union activites! What a foundation Farmers Union provided for you! Congratulations on your graduation from college! We wish you all the best in your future. I look forward to read more about your trip and the pictues are great too. What a wonderful opportunity and lifelong memory-maker this will be for you! Friends in Farmers Union, Jana Sickler
